Announcing Our Official Charity Partnership: Starlight Foundation

12th September 2011. We are delighted and proud to announce that we have launched an official partnership with the Starlight Foundation Charity. Under the partnership, we will be putting our full range of skills and services at their disposal to help raise money. We will also be carrying out a range of fundraising initiatives and donating a portion of our profits to the charity.

Summer Ends With New Faces at TOSC and another New Client

5th September 2011. As the last warm days of the year slowly fade into the windy autumn, we have some good news. Two new faces have joined our little family: Sarah Bailey has moved from the Global Marketing team at Dyson to become a Senior Account Manager looking after several of our major clients. Kerry Marchant has joined as an Account Executive, supporting all the account teams in their day to day workload.

Just to give us all an extra boost in early September as the nights draw in, we have won a contract with Continental Travel Nurse, a specialist recruitment agency in the Nursing sector, to optimise their website performance, perform SEO and PPC and launch a new campaign through Facebook.

Exhibiting at the new-look Revolution Forum

14th June 2011. We are delighted to announce that we are exhibiting at the new-look Revolution Forum in July. We have been attending the Forums for a few years now and have always had an excellent time chatting to our peers, listening to some great speakers and fishing for new business. This year, the Forum has merged with Marketing and PR Week to create the Brand Republic Forum (9-11th July) to be held in the Grand Hotel in Brighton. Hope to see you there!

Major New Client Win

1st May 2011. We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed as the sole retained agency/ consultancy for Ricoh UK & Ireland. After a competitive pitch, we will be working with the IT giant for an initial 3 year period to help drive their overall digital strategy forward. We have been tasked with spearheading the Conversion Rate Optimisation strategy, including proactive marketing to the site (SEO and PPC currently), analytics and online sales strategies.

Nectar Fashion Portal Launches

April 2011. After many months of planning and wireframing, the brand new Nectar Fashion Portal has launched this month. We have been working hard to ensure the site will deliver revenue for the loyalty card giant through an exciting user experience. We have been working with our sister company, Studio 6, on various projects for Nectar for around 12 months now.

Why Your Website Has to Sell

I know this is a bit like an estate agent saying that house prices are going rise, but that bold directive is based on some startling new research from Manticore. After studying many users in different walks of life (B2B and B2C) they have found that 70% of buyers won't talk to you before they've drawn up a shortlist of options. So, said another way, if you don't feature where they look (opotimising your marketing) and then address their individual needs (optimising the user experience) with a couple minutes on your website then you're only in with a chance of 30% of the sales.

Well, you may say, 30% of my market is still good enough for me! Yes, but if you could spend a fraction of what you already spend on PPC or SEO on getting that 30% to 90% wouldn't that be even better? Give yourself every chance of getting the sale by basing your marketing and web sie around the people who actually matter - your prospects and customers. Make that simple change and you could triple your market share - now that's got ot be worthwhile.
